Where Xi'an Plays: Pokiddo's Massive 3,000㎡ ChaoWan Sports Wonderland

The first 3000+㎡ super-large trendy play space in Northwest China, designed and constructed by the Pokiddo team, is a comprehensive play paradise integrating leisure/entertainment/sports/parent-child interaction. It is divided into two major areas, the West District (i.e. Hall A) and the East District (i.e. Hall B), and four sports arenas, providing an immersive play experience. It is determined to become the first new one-stop family sports gathering space in Northwest China that integrates a special bowling area, a Daluge sports exploration park, and a digital trendy play sports area.

I. Background of the Xi'an Daluge Play Sports Center project

Xi'an Daluge Trendy Play Sports Center is located in the Chongwen Town Sports Center of Jinghe New City, Xixian New District. Jinghe Sports Center is located in the core area of Jinghe New City, Xixian New District, radiating to the north of Xi'an City, Qinhan New City, and parts of Jingyang, Sanyuan, and Gaoling. The project is north to Hubin 1st Road, south to Jinghe Avenue, east to Huanhu Road, and west to Jinghe 2nd Street, covering an area of 78.6 acres, with a total construction area of about 50,000 square meters in the venue.

Founded in 1973, Daluko Industrial Co., Ltd. is a holding company of the Taiwan listed company Daluko Group (stock code 1432.TP). It has been operating successfully for many years, and its related industrial entities have also entered the financial industry, education, construction and other businesses. Since 2003, it has invested in sports and entertainment operations, extended to upstream and downstream diversified industries, and developed into one of the high-quality, well-known and leading sports and entertainment operators in the two sides of the Taiwan Strait through the use of Internet thinking and resource integration.

The completion of the Xi'an Daluko Chaowan Sports Center project will become another beautiful "business card" for the Jinghe New City Sports Center. As an important part of the sports and entertainment sector, the sports park is a highlight project of the entire sports center. Mr. Lin of Daluko attaches great importance to the quality of equipment. In early April 2022, he met with Pokiddo. The two teams of Daluko and Pokiddo held several online discussion meetings and communicated in detail on the equipment design layout and environmental design. During this period, Mr. Lin also conducted a multi-faceted investigation of our venue cases, such as: Guangdong Zhuhai Pokiddo Family Sports Center, Hangzhou Leti Port Pokiddo Sports Factory, etc. After inspecting many case stores, Mr. Lin highly recognized the quality of the equipment of Pokiddo Sports Park, agreed with the store operation and brand concept of Pokiddo, and immediately confirmed the project cooperation. It will be grandly opened on October 1, 2022.

II.Xi'an Daluge Sports Center from design to construction

[Venue positioning]

One of the issues that an indoor sports park must consider before the overall design is the positioning of the venue, which affects the equipment selection of the venue. The positioning of the Taroko Sports Center venue is: sports, competition, adventure, and trendy play, so when we are doing the early equipment selection, we need to consider integrating adventure expansion, interactive technology, amusement growth, sports competition, leisure and entertainment and other related equipment.

The overall planning area of the Daluge Sports Center is nearly 4,000 square meters. Hall A is carefully designed and built by Pokiddo, with a 10-meter-high three-dimensional space. The hall is divided into five functional areas: sports, digital interaction, adventure, entertainment experience (ENT), and social, covering 29 sports and entertainment projects. In addition to 10 major projects such as indoor high-altitude rappelling, trampoline, theme rock climbing, devil slide, interactive basketball, interactive football, bowling, 360 bicycles, plum blossom piles, and dry snow slides, there are also planned home parties, light bars, and full dance. The aerial expansion project surrounding the venue maximizes the use of space. The venue equipment is built by Pokiddo, a well-known domestic indoor park brand, and there are also imported equipment from France, bringing together many equipment suppliers at home and abroad.

The overall color design is a combination of orange, purple and blue, which are representative colors of sports vitality. With the concept of "sports" as the core, it advocates a healthy life and uses bright and lively colors and wall stickers to create a strong sports atmosphere without losing sunshine, fashion and fun. The first feeling when entering the museum is that you are in a sunny playground track, running freely with energetic and sunny teenagers!

It took a total of 30 days from the construction team's entry to the completion of the project. During the process, the equipment installation team, engineering construction team and environmental decoration team carried out construction simultaneously or staggered, and advanced the task plan efficiently every day to ensure that the project opened on schedule. The person in charge of the Pocket House project quality supervision was on-site throughout the process, following the industry safety standards, and checking each equipment installation detail one by one. The project delivery and acceptance also underwent strict inspection.
